The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 29.09 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 28.37 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.54 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.58 per cent at Rs 309.84 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 321.35 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.98 per cent to Rs 270.13 crore from Rs 278.42 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 97.67 per cent at Rs 8.50 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 4.30 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 7.48 per cent to Rs 39.71 crore as against Rs 42.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 4.04 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 11.21 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.95 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.00 per cent at Rs 9.78 crore (Dec'19 Rs 9.78 crore).
