Burger King India posts Q4 net loss of Rs 25.94 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 25.94 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 37.41 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.65 per cent at Rs 196.05 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 190.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.87 per cent to Rs 171.58 crore from Rs 170.10 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 73.98 per cent at Rs 3.41 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 1.96 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 17.14 per cent to Rs 24.47 crore as against Rs 20.89 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 14.08 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 24.42 per cent y-o-y to Rs 16.34 crore
