Burger King India posts Q3 net loss of Rs 29.03 cr
The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 29.03 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 21.73 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 28.40 per cent at Rs 163.19 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 227.92 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 26.68 per cent to Rs 147.99 crore from Rs 201.84 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 2049.15 per cent at Rs 12.68 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 0.59 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 41.72 per cent to Rs 15.20 crore as against Rs 26.08 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 18.62 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 45.70 per cent y-o-y to Rs 23.40 crore
