Britannia Industries is currently trading at Rs. 3315.95, up by 38.85 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 3277.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3235.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3320.60 and Rs. 3188.90 respectively. So far 12433 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4152.05 on 14-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3050.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3590.85 and Rs. 3188.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 78677.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.11% and 24.35% respectively.

Britannia Industries has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 16.97% in its net profit at Rs 413.43 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 353.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.30% at Rs 3,439.49 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 3,009.16 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 4.97% in its net profit at Rs 377.95 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 360.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.85% at Rs 3,604.28 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 3,193.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a fall of 8.91% in its net profit at Rs 1,603.19 crore as compared to Rs 1,760.03 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.36% at Rs 13,731.05 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12,671.53 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 18.08% in its net profit at Rs 1,515.98 crore as compared to Rs 1,850.59 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 6.77% at Rs 14,359.09 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13,449.01 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
