The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 413.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 353.46 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 16.97 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 16.80 per cent at Rs 3,336.45 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,856.50 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 14.18 per cent to Rs 2,814.41 crore from Rs 2,464.82 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 82.31 per cent at Rs 103.04 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 56.52 crore). Operating Profit surged by 7.01 per cent to Rs 522.04 crore as against Rs 487.82 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.37 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 51.34 per cent y-o-y to Rs 31.04 crore, while Taxation increased by 9.63 per cent at Rs 137.27 crore (Mar'21 Rs 125.21 crore).
