Brigade Enterprises moves up as its sales bookings grow by 9% during last fiscal year

Brigade Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 451.15, up by 17.65 points or 4.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 435.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 453.25 and Rs. 435.00 respectively. So far 7223 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 554.25 on 31-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 254.20 on 20-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 453.25 and Rs. 410.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10281.51 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.50% and 18.62% respectively.

Brigade Enterprises' sales bookings grew by 9 per cent during the last fiscal year at record Rs 3,022.7 crore on better housing demand. Out of the total sales bookings, sales bookings in housing segment rose 11 per cent to Rs 2,950.5 crore during the last fiscal year from Rs 2,657.9 crore in 2020-21. The sales bookings in commercial segment fell 34 per cent to Rs 722 crore in 2021-22 from Rs 1,087 crore in the previous year. The average realisation increased by 7 per cent Y-o-Y (year-on-year) to Rs 6,411 per square feet in FY22.

Brigade Enterprises is engaged in developing residential, commercial and retail properties primarily in Bangalore and Mysore, and has also developed and is managing a number of serviced apartments under the brand, Brigade Homestead.
