Bosch Q1 net profit up 28.66% at Rs 334.20 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 334.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 259.76 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 28.66 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 45.05 per cent at Rs 3,544.40 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,443.53 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 44.83 per cent to Rs 3,094.90 crore from Rs 2,136.89 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 42.81 per cent at Rs 56.60 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 98.97 crore). Operating Profit surged by 46.59 per cent to Rs 449.50 crore as against Rs 306.64 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.04 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 12.50 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.60 crore, while Taxation increased by 37.00 per cent at Rs 103.50 crore (Jun'21 Rs 75.55 crore).
