The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 69.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 49.93 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 39.40 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 29.17 per cent at Rs 528.95 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 409.51 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.17 per cent to Rs 430.35 crore from Rs 325.61 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 47.54 per cent at Rs 15.27 crore versus (Dec'20 Rs 10.35 crore). Operating Profit surged by 17.53 per cent to Rs 98.61 crore as against Rs 83.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 9.03 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 10.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.74 crore, while Taxation increased by 2.32 per cent at Rs 24.68 crore (Dec'20 Rs 24.12 crore).
