Birla Corporation spurts on the BSE
Birla Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 1127.30, up by 33.35 points or 3.05% from its previous closing of Rs 1093.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1085.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1123.40 and Rs. 1052.15 respectively. So far 3258 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1649.00 on 09-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 753.55 on 19-Mar-2021.

Birla Corporation had raised Rs 150 crore by allotment of 1500, (AA) rated, listed, secured, redeemable Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Rs 10 lakh each on private placement basis. The tenure of the said NCDs is 5 years from the deemed date of allotment with maturity on 17th February, 2027. The NCDs will be listed on BSE.
Birla Corporation is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of cement as its core business activity. It has significant presence in the jute goods industry as well.
