The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 38.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 67.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 43.72 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose by 5.31 per cent at Rs 517.70 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 491.60 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.66 per cent to Rs 491.20 crore from Rs 424.70 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 35.41 per cent at Rs 60.80 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 44.90 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 60.39 per cent to Rs 26.50 crore as against Rs 66.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 62.38 per cent in March quarter. Taxation increased by 13.44 per cent at Rs 21.10 crore (Mar'21 Rs 18.60 crore).
