Bharti Airtel rises on launching 5G services in Port Blair

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 766.35, up by 4.10 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 762.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 761.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 769.40 and Rs. 761.10 respectively. So far 22744 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 877.10 on 25-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 629.05 on 14-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 769.40 and Rs. 748.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 456686.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.83% and 4.04% respectively.

Bharti Airtel (Airtel) has launched cutting edge 5G services in Port Blair, making it the first operator to bring the power of 5G to the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar islands. Customers will now be able to experience ultrafast, reliable and secure 5G Plus services without having to worry about data exhaustion as the company removes the capping on data usage across all existing plans.

Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as Airtel continues to construct its network and complete the roll out. Customers with 5G-enabled devices will enjoy a high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the roll out is more widespread. Airtel will augment its network making its services available to cities across the Union territory in due course.
