Bharti Airtel rises as CCI approves Google International`s proposed acquisition
Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 679.60, up by 6.20 points or 0.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 673.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 674.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 679.95 and Rs. 666.15 respectively. So far 46272 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 781.90 on 24-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 510.09 on 02-Jul-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 691.45 and Rs. 666.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 400074.57 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.86% and 5.21% respectively.
Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Google International’s proposed acquisition of a minority stake in Bharti Airtel. Google International and Bharti Airtel have entered into an investment agreement to buy a minority and non-controlling stake of 1.28% of equity share capital in Bharti Airtel. Along with the investment agreement, Google International and Bharti Airtel through their affiliates have also entered into certain commercial deals. The Parties also intend to enter into certain other commercial arrangements in future.
