Bharat Forge rises on inaugurating first E-bike manufacturing facility through E -Mobility subsidiary
Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 837.50, up by 3.65 points or 0.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 833.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 841.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 844.95 and Rs. 835.00 respectively. So far 10360 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 919.50 on 15-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 597.50 on 12-May-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 845.75 and Rs. 814.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 38823.11 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.15% and 10.59% respectively.
Bharat Forge through its E -Mobility subsidiary, Kalyani Powertrain has inaugurated its first E-bike manufacturing facility at MIDC Chakan on March 08, 2023. The facility has a production capacity of 60,000 units per annum and scalable to 100,000 units per annum, will undertake assembly of E-bikes for Tork Motors, 64.29% owned by Kalyani Powertrain.
Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
