Bharat Dynamics zooms on bagging export order worth $255 million

Bharat Dynamics is currently trading at Rs. 915.85, up by 43.10 points or 4.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 872.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 873.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 922.80 and Rs. 861.40 respectively. So far 162497 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1026.00 on 27-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 407.70 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 948.95 and Rs. 786.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16692.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.64% and 9.43% respectively.

Bharat Dynamics (BDL) has received export order worth $255 million. The order will be executed subject to Government clearances.

Earlier, the company had entered into Memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with several foreign and Indian companies. The company had entered into MoU with Thales for setting up manufacturing facilities for Laser Guided Rocket and its major components in India.

Bharat Dynamics is engaged in manufacturing of Surface to Air missiles (SAMs), Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapons, launchers, countermeasures and test equipment.
