Bharat Dynamics surges on entering into MoUs with several foreign, Indian companies

Bharat Dynamics is currently trading at Rs. 820.15, up by 20.30 points or 2.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 799.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 805.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 825.00 and Rs. 804.95 respectively. So far 7752 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1026.00 on 27-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 407.70 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 844.00 and Rs. 786.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14659.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.64% and 9.43% respectively.

Bharat Dynamics (BDL) has entered into Memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with several foreign and Indian companies. The company has entered into MoU with

Thales for setting up manufacturing facilities for Laser Guided Rocket and its major components in India. In addition to the above, an MoU was signed by company with EDGE Group entity, AL TARIQ, UAE to jointly produce the all-weather, day / night, long-range precision-guided munition (LR-PGM) kits in India.

The company has also signed MoU with Bultexpro, Bulgaria for setting up the manufacturing facilities for 122mm GRAD BM ER and NON ER rockets in India under ‘Make in India’ with Transfer of Technology. Bharat Dynamics and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai has entered into MoU to work together on Design and development of Propellant grains for various missiles and futuristic weapon systems. Moreover, BDL entered into MoU with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), Chennai under which TIDCO and BDL will work on new programs with the centre of excellence of TIDCO.

Bharat Dynamics is engaged in manufacturing of Surface to Air missiles (SAMs), Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapons, launchers, countermeasures and test equipment.
