Bharat Dynamics jumps on inking contract with Ministry of Defence
Bharat Dynamics is currently trading at Rs. 834.45, up by 50.70 points or 6.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 783.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 810.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 842.25 and Rs. 806.50 respectively. So far 124163 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 904.95 on 19-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 341.00 on 21-Jun-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 842.25 and Rs. 684.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14364.67 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.49% and 6.59% respectively.
Bharat Dynamics has signed a contract worth Rs 2971 crore with Ministry of Defence. The order is for supply of ASTRA MK-I Beyond Visual Range (BVR) Air to Air Missile and associates equipment’s to Indian Air Force & Indian Navy.
Bharat Dynamics is engaged in manufacturing of Surface to Air missiles (SAMs), Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapons, launchers, countermeasures and test equipment.
