Berger Paints India trades higher despite reporting 20% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit
Berger Paints India is currently trading at Rs. 551.10, up by 10.15 points or 1.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 540.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 530.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 557.75 and Rs. 527.60 respectively. So far 96522 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 745.60 on 03-Feb-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 534.55 on 27-Jan-2023.

Berger Paints India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2022 (Q3FY23).
The company has reported a fall of 5.99% in its net profit at Rs 207.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 220.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased 8.29% at Rs 2458.42 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 2270.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 20.48% in its net profit at Rs 201.17 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 252.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased 5.39% at Rs 2704.47 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 2566.22 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
