The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 152.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 61.90 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 146.69 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 31.29 per cent at Rs 963.30 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 733.70 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.14 per cent to Rs 762.60 crore from Rs 651.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 1.26 per cent at Rs 15.70 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 15.90 crore). Operating Profit surged by 142.68 per cent to Rs 200.70 crore as against Rs 82.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 84.83 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 57.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.50 crore, while Taxation increased by 105.59 per cent at Rs 36.80 crore (Mar'21 Rs 17.90 crore).
