BF Investment declines on reporting 48% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

BF Investment is currently trading at Rs. 646.75, down by 23.00 points or 3.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 669.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 669.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 669.70 and Rs. 642.80 respectively. So far 10495 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 813.25 on 21-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 479.40 on 10-Nov-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 682.70 and Rs. 637.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2434.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.77% and 25.10% respectively.

BF Investment  has reported 4.12% fall in its net profit at Rs 49.35 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 51.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 6.63% at Rs 74.51 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 69.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 48.01% fall in net profit at Rs 36.02 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 69.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 31.96% at Rs 19.28 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 14.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
