Axis Mutual Fund, one among the fastest growing fund houses in India, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Vandana Trivedi as Head of Institutional and Passive Businesses. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and leading the sales strategy and client relationship management for institutional clients. Furthermore, she will also be spearheading the Passives business for Axis Mutual Fund, also developing and leading the sales strategy for the vertical.

 

Vandana brings with her a diverse experience spanning over two decades in asset management sales and distribution. Her expertise lies in defining product strategy, managing product launches and drawing profitability metrics to drive performance and achieve the intended targets. Her expertise in sales strategy formulation and its subsequent execution will be instrumental in pivoting Axis Mutual Fund’s Institutional and Passives Business on an accelerated growth trajectory.

 

Commenting on her appointment, B. Gopkumar, MD & CEO, Axis AMC said, “We look forward to capitalizing on Vandana’s understanding of the industry and her experience to further strengthen our Institutional and Passive businesses. We believe that her appointment will fortify Axis Mutual Fund’s robust leadership.”

 

Ms. Trivedi joins Axis Mutual Fund from Bandhan AMC wherein she served as the Head for Institutional Sales. Not only did she set up the institutional business for the firm but was also responsible for driving mandates from corporate and institutional treasuries. Prior to that, she was associated with HSBC AMC and Cholamandalam AMC.
