Aster DM Healthcare trades in red on reporting 20% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Aster DM Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 152.40, down by 5.80 points or 3.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 158.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 154.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 154.50 and Rs. 151.00 respectively. So far 94233 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 179.90 on 20-Nov-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 119.40 on 14-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 162.50 and Rs. 148.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7657.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.29% and 42.83% respectively.

Aster DM Healthcare has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported net loss at Rs 14.24 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit at Rs 0.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.82% at Rs 240.82 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 209.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 19.62% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 105.39 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 131.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 4.93% at Rs 2,420.69 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 2,306.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss at Rs 68.78 crore as compared to net profit at Rs 60.61 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 12.20% at Rs 768.17 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 874.93 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 46.59% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 147.74 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 276.61 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 0.36% at Rs 8,658.40 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8,689.75 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
