The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 763.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 618.63 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 23.38 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 18.92 per cent at Rs 7,315.86 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 6,151.85 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 18.04 per cent to Rs 6,228.79 crore from Rs 5,276.93 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 23.22 per cent at Rs 117.11 crore versus (Sep'21 Rs 152.53 crore). Operating Profit surged by 27.50 per cent to Rs 1,115.55 crore as against Rs 874.92 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 7.24 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 30.03 per cent y-o-y to Rs 23.51 crore, while Taxation increased by 21.82 per cent at Rs 256.91 crore (Sep'21 Rs 210.89 crore).
