The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 15.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 5.75 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 162.96 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 64.62 per cent at Rs 357.37 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 217.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 60.73 per cent to Rs 330.57 crore from Rs 205.67 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 96.30 per cent at Rs 0.12 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 3.24 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 134.97 per cent to Rs 26.81 crore as against Rs 11.41 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 42.59 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 36.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.45 crore, while Taxation increased by 215.38 per cent at Rs 4.92 crore (Mar'20 Rs 1.56 crore).
