Ashok Leyland rides high on reporting many fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported many fold jump in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 352.56 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 18.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 59.48% at Rs 8176.73 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 5127.11 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss at Rs 313.68 crore as compared to net profit Rs 239.52 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 12.34% at Rs 15420.95 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 17590.81 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss at Rs 165.23 crore as compared to net profit at Rs 336.67 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 11.21% at Rs 19585.26 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 22059.10 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
