Adani Power jumps on the bourses
Adani Power is currently trading at Rs. 132.70, up by 2.55 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 130.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 130.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 134.95 and Rs. 130.15 respectively. So far 1255553 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 167.05 on 09-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 69.95 on 24-Aug-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 134.35 and Rs. 122.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 51143.01 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.56% and 8.46% respectively.
Adani Power has collaborated with IHI Corporation and Kowa Company to study ammonia co-firing for environmentally sustainable power generation. The company aims to lead India's initiatives in achieving the targets of greenhouse gas reduction by evaluating the possibility and potential of ammonia as a fuel in thermal power generation which will utilize Green Hydrogen-derived ammonia in the existing thermal power plant.
IHI Corporation has already successfully demonstrated its ammonia co-firing technology at a large-scale commercial coal-fired power plant in Japan and responded to many inquiries related to ammonia co-firing globally. This will aim to promote energy cooperation between India and Japan through diverse and realistic energy transitions by utilising all energy sources and technologies to ensure energy security, carbon neutrality and economic growth.
