Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone posts Q4 net loss of Rs 602.49 cr
The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 602.49 crore compared to net profit of Rs 323.08 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.28 per cent at Rs 1,057.78 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,192.29 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 146.12 per cent to Rs 937.76 crore from Rs 381.01 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 18.41 per cent at Rs 566.38 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 478.33 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 85.21 per cent to Rs 120.02 crore as against Rs 811.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 83.32 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 1.44 per cent y-o-y to Rs 670.58 crore, while Taxation decreased by 114.60 per cent at Rs -22.22 crore (Mar'21 Rs 152.23 crore).
