APL Apollo Tubes gains on reporting 32% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

APL Apollo Tubes is currently trading at Rs. 1193.10, up by 8.85 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 1184.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1189.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1200.60 and Rs. 1184.90 respectively. So far 1564 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,200.60 on 3-Feb-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 771.00 on 24-Feb-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1200.60 and Rs. 1123.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32842.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 34.72% and 34.13% respectively.

APL Apollo Tubes has reported a rise of 29.23% in its net profit at Rs 133.18 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 103.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 29.95% at Rs 3770.80 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 2901.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 32.30% in its net profit at Rs 169.18 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 127.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased 33.91% at Rs 4336.40 crore for Q3FY23 as compared to Rs 3238.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
