``Willing to work together....`` China congratulates PM Modi for 3rd consecutive win in Lok Sabha polls
The 2024 Lok Sabha Elections results gave a clear mandate to the BJP-led NDA with over 290 seats on June 04. Narendra Modi will be the second person to hold Prime Minister’s Office for 3rd consecutive time after Jawaharlal Nehru. As NDA is poised to return for third term, global leaders extended heartfelt wishes to PM Modi on his triumph. Apart from Italy, US, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives, China also congratulated PM Modi on his electoral victory. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning while congratulating PM Modi, said “looking forward to work with India”
