'Iran-India have common interest, good relations': Says Envoy Fatahli amid Hormuz tensions
Dr Mohammad Fatahli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, said, “...We, as Iran and India, have a common interest. And now, in these difficult times, we have good relations...” "In this (Islamabad) negotiation, they (the US) had unlawful demands. We have announced that if they accept our conditions, we are ready for negotiation. And also, we announced that we are ready for war."On the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, he says, "I think that it depends on the situation...Iran believes and is committed to international law and freedom of navigation.
