"Govt Allocates 20K cr for building out India`s Carbon Capture ecosystem", says Ministry of Power
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power Aadhar Raj says, "The government is initiating a comprehensive carbon capture, storage, and utilisation ecosystem with a budget of Rs 20,000 crores over the next five years, aiming to create a circular economy for carbon products... The Ministry of Power will promote research, development, and new products in this field... All the costing should be such that it comes back into the circular economy, which is a huge opportunity for the industries and entrepreneurs across the country... We will present an entire proposal for the budgeting of the amount... We have a meeting with the Finance Ministry to finalise the modalities..."
