Former Jharkhand CM & JMM leader Champai Soren on August 26 cleared that he is going to join BJP on September 30. He said that after seeing the condition of Jharkhand and brainstorming over the issue, he decided to trust the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country and therefore decided to join BJP. Champai Soren said, "When I had come on 18th August I had made my position clear...At first, I thought that I would retire from politics but then due to the public support, I decided not to...I have decided to join the BJP. Seeing the condition of Jharkhand and brainstorming over the issue, I decided to trust the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country and therefore decided to join BJP.” When asked if he is joining BJP on September 30, he says, "Yes"
