`Concept of sports changed drastically` Min Rajyavardhan Rathore highlights evolving Sports Culture
At the 'Diplomacy beyond Delhi, Fostering Sports and Culture Ties' session of the 9th Talk Journalism, Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore said, "In India, the concept of sports has changed drastically... Many successful sporting careers have emerged in India, not just in cricket but in many other sports as well. India is emerging as a sports-loving nation, and economically, we are becoming more vibrant... In terms of policies, the national education policy implemented by the central government is a significant step towards incorporating sports into the main curriculum, rather than treating them as an extracurricular activity..."
