The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 12.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 5.06 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 143.08 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 16.58 per cent at Rs 386.91 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 331.88 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 14.95 per cent to Rs 367.27 crore from Rs 319.50 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 25.42 per cent at Rs 1.48 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 1.18 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 58.56 per cent to Rs 19.63 crore as against Rs 12.38 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 35.92 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 2.48 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.19 crore, while Taxation increased by 113.47 per cent at Rs 0.47 crore (Mar'20 Rs -3.49 crore).
