The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 153.67 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 115.52 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 33.02 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 41.05 per cent at Rs 1,420.73 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,410.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 47.51 per cent to Rs 1,088.68 crore from Rs 2,074.24 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 73.74 per cent at Rs 18.66 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 10.74 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 1.13 per cent to Rs 332.05 crore as against Rs 335.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 67.77 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 15.67 per cent y-o-y to Rs 57.57 crore, while Taxation decreased by 25.65 per cent at Rs 39.69 crore (Mar'21 Rs 53.38 crore).
