Average daily fliers moderate to 264K; fliers per departure dip to 113

Weekly average daily fliers came in at 264k in the week ended (W.E) 06th Mar’21 vs 285k in the W.E. 27 th Feb’21. The count increased from 38k to 264k in the first 39 weeks post the resumption of domestic air travel w.e.f. 25th May’20. For the W.E. 06th Mar’21, average number of departures per day declined marginally to 2,338 vis-à-vis 2,341 in the W.E. 27 th Feb’21. The number of fliers per departure declined to 113 in the W.E. 06th Mar’21 vs 122 in the W.E. 27 th Feb’21.
