WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund files offers document for Special Opportunities Fund
WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an open-ended equity scheme named ‘WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund ‘. The offer rate is Rs 10 per unit. Entry load will be nil. In respect of each purchase / switch-in of Units, an Exit Load of 1.00% is payable if Units are redeemed/ switched-out within 1 month from the date of allotment, No Exit Load is payable if Units are redeemed / switched-out after 1 month from the date of allotment. The Scheme offers Growth Option only for investment and minimum target subscription amount for the Scheme to be raised is Rs 10 Crore.
The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against S&P BSE 500Total Return Index (TRI). The minimum application amount is Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in opportunities presented by special situations such as corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, government policy and/or regulatory changes, technology led disruption and innovation, new trends, new & emerging sectors, companies/sectors going through temporary unique challenges and other similar instances.
