Welspun Specialty Solutions zooms after securing contract worth Rs 231.77 crore from BHEL

Welspun Specialty Solutions is currently trading at Rs 31.30, up by 1.31 points or 4.37% from its previous closing of Rs 29.99 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 31.47 and has touched a high and low of Rs 31.48 and Rs 29.99 respectively. So far 146725 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs 6 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 55.54 on 18-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs 28.93 on 28-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 36.76 and Rs 29.99 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2077.29 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.03% and 44.80% respectively.
Welspun Specialty Solutions has been declared as L1 bidder by Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL, Trichy) for supply of around 4,050 tons of Stainless steel Seamless Boiler Tubes for series of Super critical Thermal Power Projects. Formal contract will be released after internal approval process at BHEL.
The company had participated in the said tender after stringent assessment and subsequent approval by BHEL. The total supply contract value will be around Rs 231.77 crore (excluding GST).
