Welspun Corp shines on bagging orders for suppling coated pipes for Natural Gas Pipeline projects
Welspun Corp is currently trading at Rs. 756.85, up by 17.30 points or 2.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 739.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 739.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 758.85 and Rs. 726.50 respectively. So far 212 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 835.00 on 03-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 441.00 on 04-Jun-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 822.35 and Rs. 726.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 19402.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.82% and 24.18% respectively.
Welspun Corp has received new orders in the USA including two large orders for HSAW Pipes and additional orders for HFIW Pipes, valued at around Rs 3,000 crore for supply of coated Pipes primarily for Natural Gas Pipeline Projects. Execution of these orders will be largely during FY26 and FY27. These wins continue to reinforce its leading and dominant market share in the USA O&G transmission space. Its outlook for the USA market continues to remain positive for next few years and Welspun is fully poised to benefit from more opportunities in the time to come.
With addition of these new orders, value of the company's consolidated order book stands at around Rs 18,000 crore.
