Welspun Corp shines as its arm bags order worth around Rs 4,000 crore
Welspun Corp is currently trading at Rs. 2783.55, up by 88.95 points or 3.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 2694.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2782.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2837.50 and Rs. 2758.60 respectively. So far 116172 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2837.00 on 23-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 709.75 on 02-Feb-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2837.50 and Rs. 2668.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 73649.03 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.73%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.25% and 21.01% respectively.
Welspun Corp’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Welspun Tubular LLC, USA, has secured the largest order in its history, in terms of volume, length and value, for the supply of High-Frequency Induction Welded (HFIW) pipes, valued at around $412.5 million (around Rs 4,000 crore).
The pipes will be manufactured at the company's newly upgraded HFIW mill, with enhanced capabilities, at Little Rock, USA. The order will be executed during FY28 and FY29. With this order, the company's global order book stands at a record $4.7 billion (around Rs 45,000 crore), the highest in its history.
