Voltas moves up on the bourses

Voltas is currently trading at Rs. 1314.20, up by 7.20 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 1307.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1324.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1352.85 and Rs. 1301.70 respectively. So far 137335 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1373.20 on 08-Apr-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 745.00 on 14-Jul-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1373.20 and Rs. 1185.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 43656.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.30%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.38% and 15.32% respectively.

Voltas has recorded a 35% sales growth in Air Conditioner to over two million units in FY24, becoming the first company in the domestic market to cross this mark. The performance was attributed to a consistent demand for cooling products during the year, coupled with a strong offline and online distribution network, and new innovative launches.

Besides, its home appliances brand Voltas Beko, a JV with Turkish appliances maker Arcelik, also achieved the milestone of selling close to 2 million units in FY24. Overall, 5 million consumer products got sold to customers across the country by Voltas in FY24.
