Vedanta trades higher on raising Rs 2600 crore through NCDs
Vedanta is currently trading at Rs. 437.00, up by 3.45 points or 0.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 433.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 436.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 442.20 and Rs. 432.80 respectively. So far 586320 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 527.00 on 16-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 249.75 on 13-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 442.20 and Rs. 401.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 170786.20 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.38%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.47% and 16.15% respectively.
Vedanta has raised Rs 2600 crore through the allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The company has allotted 2,06,000 Indian Rupees (INR) Denominated Unsecured, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, NCDs of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs 2,060 crore (Series 1 Debentures) and 54,000 Indian Rupees (INR) Denominated Unsecured, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, NCDs of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs 540 crore (Series 2 Debentures). The duly constituted Committee of Directors of the Company has approved the allotment of the same.
