Uttarakhand Emerges as a Global Hub for Tourism, Spirituality and Wellness
Uttarakhand is advancing towards global recognition for its tourism and spiritual heritage under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Integrated Tourism Destination Plan is strengthening roads, parking, drinking water, sanitation and homestay facilities. Development of Char Dham, Winter Char Dham and Adi Kailash is giving fresh momentum to religious tourism. In 2025, the state recorded over 60 million tourist arrivals, reflecting its growing appeal. An investment of around Rs 5,000 crores in tourism infrastructure is enhancing connectivity and visitor facilities. Expansion of yoga, AYUSH, Panchakarma, eco-tourism and adventure activities is further diversifying the tourism ecosystem. With spirituality, wellness, nature and adventure coming together, Uttarakhand is emerging as an all-season destination with strong global tourism potential.
