In a historic comeback after 4 years, Donald Trump was elected US President on November 6. In the early hours of Wednesday, Trump claimed victory in the 2024 US election, declaring an “unprecedented & powerful mandate”. Extending congratulatory wishes for ‘spectacular victory’, PM Modi held a conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump. PM Modi wished to take the India-US relationship to new heights and work closely together during the conversation. Indian Prime Minister further emphasized strengthening India-US relations across various sectors. This is only the second instance and the first in over 100 years of a leader winning the presidency after losing once.
