Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid floral tribute to first UP CM and social reformer-freedom fighter Govind Ballabh Pant on his birth anniversary. “Today is the birth anniversary of Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, first CM of Uttar Pradesh...He participated in the freedom movement. He was a great freedom fighter...As the first CM, he took several measures towards UP's development work and solving the challenges before the state at that time, after centuries of colonialism. After working as CM of UP, in 1954, he received the opportunity to serve the country as the Home Minister of the country...I pay my tribute to this son of Bharat Mata on his birth anniversary,” said Yogi.
