UP CM Yogi Adityanath announces increased tribal inclusion in government schemes
Speaking on the launch of tribal participation festival ahead of 150th Birth Anniversary of Freedom Fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda, UP CM Yogi on Nov 13 announced increased tribal inclusion in government schemes.
“...Previously, when we advertised for government jobs, the Scheduled Caste seats were not fully filled. Recently, we recruited 60,244 police personnel, and all the seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes were filled by young people from the Scheduled Castes. This indicates that their educational level has increased and their participation is growing. Efforts have been made to increase their participation in government schemes, which previously didn't reach them. Therefore, our government has decided that all the tribal communities in Uttar Pradesh should receive their rights...,” said Yogi Adityanath.
