UltraTech Cement gains on getting nod to raise Rs 5,000 crore
Ultratech Cement is currently trading at Rs. 11924.60, up by 31.70 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 11892.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 11789.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11,960.75 and Rs. 11,778.20 respectively. So far 4549 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13104.00 on 10-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10329.00 on 23-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12150.00 and Rs. 11667.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,51,393.12 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.59% and 8.08% respectively.
UltraTech Cement has received approval for the proposal to raise funds by issuance of up to 5,00,000 fully paid, unsecured, listed, rated, redeemable, rupee denominated, non-convertible, non-cumulative debentures (NCDs) of Rs 1,00,000 each, aggregating upto Rs 5,000 crore, in one or more tranches, on private placement basis. The Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held in July 23, 2026 approved the same.
