UGRO Capital surges after its net profit rises 23% in Q2

The scrip opened at Rs. 238.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 240.75 and Rs. 236.55 respectively. So far 3267 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 314.85 on 03-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 213.15 on 27-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 260.10 and Rs. 233.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2220.70 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 2.23%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.83% and 74.94% respectively.
UGRO Capital has reported 22.95% rise in its net profit at Rs 35.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 28.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 35.18% at Rs 342.86 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 253.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
UGRO Capital is engaged in the business of lending and primarily deals in financing MSME sector with focus on Healthcare, Education, Chemicals, Food Processing/FMCG, Hospitality, Electrical Equipment & Components, Auto Components and Light Engineering segments.
