Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended a one-day programme at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala, focused on the ceremonial distribution of 475 computers and the award distribution ceremony for the best performers of the National Panchayat Awards. The event aimed to enhance digital infrastructure at the grassroots level and recognize outstanding contributions by Panchayati Raj institutions. Emphasizing technology-driven governance and rural development, the state government aligns with national initiatives to promote digital empowerment in Panchayats. Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Saha underscored the importance of equipping local bodies with modern technology and encouraged Panchayats to sustain their exemplary work in community development. He also congratulated the award recipients for their dedication to strengthening rural governance.
The programme saw the participation of senior government officials, Panchayat representatives, and stakeholders committed to advancing rural administration in Tripura.
