Tribeca Cares Extends Support to 500 Tribal Students in Vasai-Palghar Through Employee-Led Outreach Initiative
Tribeca Developers, under its newly launched CSR initiative ‘Tribeca Cares’, conducted its first community outreach program at Ashram Shala (Tribal Residential School) on Chinchoti–Kaman Road, reaching 500 tribal students from remote Maharashtrian communities. The children, who stay at the residential school to pursue their education away from their families, were the beneficiaries of an employee-driven donation effort.
The initiative was conceived as a way to support young students who often face challenges related to limited family access, economic constraints, and scarce resources. Tribeca employees voluntarily contributed clothes, toys, and other essential items, making the effort a collective gesture of warmth and solidarity. Members of the Tribeca team visited the Ashram Shala (Tribal School) to interact with the students, engage in conversations, and personally hand over the donations. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as the children expressed delight and gratitude for the thoughtful gifts.
Tribeca Founder Kalpesh Mehta said, “Through Tribeca Cares, we aim to extend meaningful support to the communities around us. Seeing the children’s joy reaffirms our belief that collective kindness from our employees can make a genuine difference.”
Representatives from the Ashram Shala (Tribal School) also appreciated the initiative. One of them noted: “Our students come from remote tribal areas and live here to complete their education. Contributions like these not only provide essential support but also motivate them emotionally.”
This outreach programme forms part of Tribeca Cares’ broader focus on education, tribal welfare, and creating opportunities for employee-led volunteering across Maharashtra. The organisation believes that consistent engagement with underserved communities can play a vital role in nurturing confidence, improving learning conditions, and fostering inclusivity. Tribeca Developers plans expand the programme to more schools and institutions in the coming months.
