Tourists footfall increases in Kashmir amid rising heatwave conditions
Amid rising heatwave conditions across several parts of the country, tourist inflow to Kashmir Valley has witnessed a significant surge on May 13. Visitors from different states are arriving in the Valley to enjoy its pleasant weather, lush landscapes and serene atmosphere. Tourists were seen enjoying traditional Shikara rides on the iconic Dal Lake while soaking in the cool morning breeze. Locals and tourism stakeholders expect the footfall to increase further in the coming weeks as Kashmir continues to offer respite from the scorching summer temperatures prevailing in many parts of India.
